Introducing our Nutritional Health Partner… Jennette Malsbury!

Lets Meet!

Hello and let me introduce myself.  My name is Jennette and my passion for nutrition began over a decade ago when I experienced first hand what the simple act of healthy eating was able to accomplish in my own life.  Soon thereafter I was fortunate enough to work with several people close to me, including my husband, children, and close friends, witnessing this same transformation in their lives.  Since that time I have dedicated myself to the pursuit of helping others achieve increased wellness through nutrition.  As a family we lived abroad for many years.  This provided different perspectives on nutrition, including how the quality of food and lack of chemicals makes eating, wellness, and the overall quality of life so much more enjoyable.  I hope that what I have learned can help you achieve the same.

Because everyone is unique, I love to approach nutrition from all angles.  Everyone can benefit from the restorative power of nutrition.  I firmly believe that nutrition is an unbelievably powerful, yet largely underappreciated aspect of our lives.  Improper nutrition can rob us of our energy, hinder our natural abilities to counteract the toxins and pollutions in our environment, and is often the underlying cause of many health deficiencies and disorders.  Fortunately there is help, with proper nutrition having the power to increase your wellness and vitality.

My top 5 recommendations this month for health and lifestyle for people with Parkinsons Disease are…

  1. Heal your Leaky Gut (more on this in next months post)
  2. A high fiber and raw diet
  3. Low protein diet with most protein at the end of the day or last meal
  4. Incorporate healthy fats into your daily life
  5. Invest in a high quality blender and juicer for green drinks and smoothies

Here is a quick rise and shine juice or afternoon boost.

  • 1/2 Organic Cucumber
  • 1/2 Organic Pineapple – Fresh
  • 1 Organic Fennel Bulb
  • 1 Organic Lemon with Peel (lemon peel contains tangeretin, a very potent phytonutrient which has been proven to be effective for brain disorders like Parkinson’s disease and high in dietary fiber)
  • 1 Knob of Ginger (is mainly know for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties however I could write a whole post on the benefits of this odd looking root)

Place in juicer.  If you need an extra boost of fiber once you juice the above ingredients add to a blender with a 1/2 of Avocado or 1/2 cup of Raspberries.  Enjoy!

I do most consultations online so that the time and place is convenient for you.  So let’s meet and discuss how I can help you achieve your individual health and wellness goals through nutrition.  Hopefully you will join me and follow my post next month in discussing how to heal your leaky gut.  Feel free to email me at nutritionalrestoration@gmail.com with any questions or to set up a consultation.

In health,

Jennette
